Este proyecto surge de la creación de un nuevo plano del suelo que se adapta de forma amable a lo existente y que invade y coloniza el Barrio del Pilar para alcanzar la Regeneración Urbana.
Tras un profundo análisis de la situación actual del barrio se determinan una serie de premisas para su mejora. Se realizan intervenciones que se producen desde el nuevo suelo y responden a la escala de barrio, bloque y vivienda.
Desde la escala global de barrio se determina la creación de fachadas urbanas especializadas que responden al ámbito colindante. Así se crea una fachada productiva para hacer frente al centro comercial, unas fachadas sociales que responden a la necesidad de las manzanas residenciales de los laterales y una fachada deportiva asociada al parque en el sur. Intervención de resalte perimetral , semi-zócalo, que pierde su masa en la fachada deportiva para convertirse en un uso del suelo y permitir la visibilidad y permeabilidad del parque.
Se jerarquiza el uso del suelo, se determinan 3 vías transversales y una longitudinal de espacio público, el resto se privatiza para la comunidad. Esto se traduce en pliegues del terreno que impiden el paso pero permiten la visibilidad desde el espacio público al privado y viceversa. El nuevo espacio público interior se asocia a una serie de nuevos usos que activan el interior del barrio y donde el suelo interviene creando salientes que se adosan a los edificios existentes en planta baja y albergan los nuevos usos: zona estudiantil, nueva centralidad lúdico-artística y centro social.
El suelo también invade los edificios existentes con la invasión de los patios y de las fachadas, intervenciones de colonización y adosamiento. Con estas intervenciones se sanean los patios interiores de los edificios de diferentes maneras y se crean nuevas fachadas de relación de la vivienda con el espacio público.
Por último la vivienda se conserva en su totalidad y solo se implementa con las intervenciones del bloque , que con la mínima incidencia plantean el cambio de la calidad de vida doméstica.

loses its mass in the sports front to turn into a use of the ground floor and
to allow visibility and permeability of the park.
Ground level use is organized into a hierarchy, 3-way transverse, and a longitudinal public space are determined, the rest space is privatized for the community. This translates into folds of the ground level that impede the passage but allow visibility from the public to the private space and vice versa. The new interior public space is associated with a series of new uses that activate the inside of the neighborhood. Where the ground level is involved creating projections that are facing to the existing buildings and home to the new uses: student area, new centrality playful-artistic, and social center.
The new ground level also invades the existing buildings with the invasion of the patios and the facades, interventions of
colonization and attachment. With these interventions is sanitize the inner patios of buildings in different ways and create new housing facades in a relationship with the public space.
